Guide

General accompaniment, medical interpretation, document translation, and inpatient support are different services. A written scope reduces last-minute additions and misunderstandings.

An interpreter supports communication. They do not diagnose or make treatment decisions for you. Ask the doctor to explain again whenever something is unclear.

01

Describe the full situation before booking

Share the language, campus, department, time, mobility needs, and companion count. Also mention possible admission or multi-day support. Complex cases may also provide a one-page summary and terminology list.

02

Confirm inclusions and exclusions

The scope may include check-in, consultation interpretation, tests, payment, pharmacy, and instructions. Document translation, overnight inpatient support, transport, multi-day waiting, or another campus usually requires separate confirmation.

  • Language, department, and date
  • Hours, overtime, and cancellation
  • Document and inpatient support

03

Verify information before the service ends

Ask the doctor about medicines, doses, test preparation, follow-up, and warning signs. Compare the answers with written instructions. Any bilingual handover should be based on original documents issued by the hospital.

FAQ

Neither the patient nor family speaks Chinese. Will someone help us at the hospital?

Yes. Language support can be arranged in advance if you do not speak Chinese.

Tell us your language, destination city, appointment type, and number of accompanying people. We will identify where interpretation or accompaniment is needed during your hospital visit. This may include registration, consultation, tests, payment, medication collection, or admission. Before service begins, we will document the scope, duration, and fees. Additional needs, including document translation or overnight support, will be confirmed separately. We can provide both medical interpretation and everyday language interpretation.

What does medical interpretation during a hospital visit usually include?

It may include hospital registration, consultation interpretation, test and payment explanations, and medication collection. It may also include communicating medical instructions and informed consent.

The service will follow the scope confirmed before it begins. Document translation, overnight inpatient support, and multi-day standby are separate services. They require separate confirmation and are not included by default.

Can you coordinate accommodation, transportation, and hospital visits when my family travels with me?

Yes. However, arrange accommodation and transportation after the medical appointment is mostly confirmed.

We will consider the hospital location, group size, mobility needs, and dates. Hotels, vehicles, and tickets are provided by third parties. Their prices, payees, and cancellation terms are separate from medical service fees.

Which documents should I take home after treatment in China?

Before leaving, confirm that all reports, imaging files, and follow-up arrangements are complete.

Depending on your treatment, check the discharge summary, pathology, medication list, and treatment records. Also check surgical records, follow-up dates, and contact information. Ask about original English documents in advance. If unavailable, keep the Chinese originals and arrange translation as needed.
